Possible Free Transfer?
This is rumor and scuttlebutt. A blue has posted a response to a player asking about giving free transfers to those realms in affected battlegroups that are unable to enter PVP battle grounds since the patch hit.
Player Imperator writes
I have been waiting to get to the server my friends are on, as it stands now from what billing said on the phone, the issue to resolve this is unknown and means it can take weeks to rectify. Will all players be entitled to a free transfer of their choice?
It would only be fair.
In response to his forum post GM Philipsk offers this.
Imperator,
Please view the sticky on the Customer Service Forums:

And the relevant information there for your post:
Q u o t e:
Any requests for compensation or free character transfers are best suited for the Suggestions Forum. Please keep the posts within this thread on-topic, pertinent and helpful; nonconstructive and harassing posts will be removed.
If you read the fine print it does not rule out the possibility. I know alot of people are upset and frustrated right now and patch 3.0.2 has become a customer service nightmare.
I personally do hope they open up transfers, as I happen to be in one of those groups and so want to move off my current server to get back into a more productive, and working realm.
Another interesting issue is WoW's main site is. . blank. It is returning a new 10 day trial promotional page then loading to a white screen. It could be monkeys, ret monkeys, in the machine.
But as for now it is still rumor. I will keep my eyes and ears peeled.

Re: Possible Free Transfer?
Pointer Remote it has included for interfacing with the box, but we're not convinced this thing is polished or helpful enough to justify the $299 asking price. I’ve been following Hillcrest Labs and their unique Freespace and HoME technologies for years. I guess more things will become Kodak moments, since Kodak is producing the Kodak Theater HD player – which is likely to become the primary competition for Google TV, if Google TV ever materializes, and it goes for less than most payday loans. The set top box has some issues with internet feeds beyond Flickr, and doesn't appear to handle video feeds too well, but then again, this is fairly new technology. I think I'll wait for a while before I purchase something along those lines.
