About WHP
WeHatePugs (pick up groups, not the dogs) was born out of the desire to provide a centralized place for players of World of Warcraft to coordinate events, raiding, meetings, whatever, on their servers without having to belong to a mega raiding guild. I suppose to better sum it up, this site is for the casualy hardcore, to non hard core players who wish to see end game content, hang out with friends or just have another avenue of social interaction.
What WHP provide:
- You may set up a group that can schedual runs. In the past people have relied on public forums or *shudder* worst yet, the official wow forums, for posting a "pug" run. I don't know about you, but puging gets tiresome real quick. Now you can set up a group of people you know into a raid group. No need to be in the same guild.
- Schedual runs. Once your group is set up you can enter a raid or event into the system. The event will be listed on the main calendar and even have the option of emailing all your group members when a new event is posted.
- Post Information and Screen Shots. In your own group area you can post blog, story posts, and screen shots of achevements that you and your group have done.
- WoWhead Powered. You are able to post mouse over links using the powered by WoW Head linking system.
Planed features:
- Loot posting. After a run list items that your raid picked up on the run.
- Stats upload. Using a opensource stats parser I hope to offer online stats to you and your raid.
- Rating system. The ability to have a wowjutsu type rating indepenent of guild.
